LA ROCHE POSAY

In this shot, I learned a lot about compositing in After Effects and how to build assets like the scale ramp with the “+” moving upward.

Adding the heat map taught me how to work with masks and layers in After Effects, even without the level of control I was used to in Nuke.

This was one of the easier shots for me, as I had gained enough After Effects experience to quickly composite the microscopic zoom effect on the models.

I also built the light rig for the product zoom, which was used in other shots as well.

MEDITONSIN EXTRACT

In this project, I worked on most aspects of the tornado.

The client requested a tornado made from the ingredients of their product. A colleague provided a base tornado setup and animated it along a curve, after which I refined the shape, adjusted the number of flowers, tweaked the speed, and fine-tuned the overall look until it met the client’s expectations.

JUnited - Autoglass

In this commercial, I developed several new skills, including rigging, texturing, and grooming. We began with an AI-generated 3D model created in ComfyUI, which I retopologized to achieve clean geometry. I then UV-unwrapped the model and textured some characters in Substance Painter.

I also gained experience rigging characters in Maya using Advanced Skeleton, which proved to be an efficient tool. After switching to Blender, I groomed eyebrows for several characters and refined material shading until achieving client approval.

Once the environment was finalized by my coworker, I focused on optimizing render times, implementing techniques such as using a gobo for shadow casting instead of a full environment setup, which resulted in noticeable time savings.

On this character I did the retopo, eyebrow grooming and adjusted textures and shading.

Hugh Granite is the character I have worked on the most starting with Retopo to UV unwrapping, texturing, rigging and the eyebrow grooming.

Rheinisches Revier

This map was created to showcase the transformation and vision of RRE on a digital table for a fair.

I was responsible for the transition animation and also contributed to modeling several of the house assets.
